Modeled Moment: What Comes Next?
While this video is modeled outside of the home, the same activity can be done at home and we encourage families to follow all state and CDC guidelines. Give your child a simple number pattern like 1, 2, 3, and ask "What two numbers come next?" (4, 5). Next try a pattern counting by tens such as 30, 40, 50. What comes next? Invite your child to challenge you with a pattern sequence!
